One problem, five answers

Alphabeta Solutions exists because two things kept happening in Abuja. Businesses paid for websites nobody visited, then paid again for diesel to keep the lights on. Both problems are solvable. Almost nobody was solving them together.

We work out of Jabi and we have stayed deliberately hands-on. A family home getting its first inverter or a marketplace pushing ten thousand orders a day — the same question decides everything. Will the person using this find it easier tomorrow than they did today?

Where we are headed

To be the firm Abuja calls first when the power, the network or the website has to work. And to still be that firm in twenty years.

What we do about it

Put dependable technology into ordinary buildings. Cut the fuel, cut the downtime, cut the guesswork out of buying any of it.

Registered in Abuja since 2019

Six rules we do not bend

Written down years ago after we got a job wrong. They have earned their place since.

Precision

A loose terminal is a fire in eighteen months. We torque it, label it, and photograph it before the panel closes.

Solar first

Every quote we write costs the cleaner option alongside the conventional one, whether or not you asked for it.

Long game

We would rather keep forty clients for ten years than win four hundred for one.

Tested, not trusted

New kit goes on our bench before it goes on your roof. Two inverter brands have failed that test and neither reached a client.

Fixed price

Written scope, one figure. If we misjudge the estimate that is ours to absorb, not yours to discover later.

Measured

We count naira saved and hours of uptime. Awards can look after themselves.

The person you will actually deal with

Obinna Okafor started Alphabeta in 2019, after a decade split between writing software and working on power systems. Long enough to notice that most Nigerian businesses were being sold one without the other.

A 50kW farm powering a hundred and twenty homes, or a shop finally able to sell outside Abuja. Same job to me. Somebody's day gets easier.

He is an electrical engineer by training and a developer by habit. Alphabeta has gone from two people to fifteen specialists and past 500 finished jobs, most of them within a two-hour drive of the office.

Six years, told honestly

No overnight success story here. Each division started because a client asked us a question we could not answer yet.

  1. 2019

    Two of us, one laptop

We built websites for Abuja SMEs from a rented desk in Wuse. The first invoice was ₦45,000 and it cleared late.

  2. 2020

    Solar joined the list

A client asked whether we could stop his server rebooting during outages. Answering that properly turned into a whole division.

  3. 2022

    Cameras and smart controls

Automation and CCTV came next, mostly because the same clients kept asking. By then one crew could wire a building end to end.

  4. 2024

    Five hundred jobs in

Fifteen specialists, 500 completed projects, and a Tony Elumelu Foundation grant in the same twelve months.

  5. 2025

    Where we are now

Still in Abuja, still answering the phone ourselves. The next three years are mostly bigger solar and better software.
